Clinical Focus

 
  1. General orthopaedic and trauma conditions 
  2. Degenerative joints (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip and knee osteoarthritis)
  3. Traumatic fractures (Upper limb, lower limb and pelvis)
  4. Lumps / swelling from bone or soft tissue (upper limb, trunk, pelvis and lower limb)
  5. Bone and soft tissue tumours from benign to malignant conditions in both adult and children (primary, recurrent and metastatic)
  6. Metastatic bone disease 
  7. Pathological fractures

Procedure Focus

 
  1. Internal and external fixation of upper limb and lower limb fractures.
  2. Joint replacement surgery (shoulder, elbow, hip and knee joints) including revision surgery and prosthetic joint infection.
  3. Tumour biopsy for bone and soft tissue tumours. 
  4. Excision and/or curettage of benign bone and soft tissue tumours. 
  5. Wide resection of bone and soft tissue tumours.
  6. Limb salvage surgeries with skeletal reconstruction: 
    1. Endoprosthesis reconstructions of upper limb, lower limb and pelvis. 
    2. Allograft or autologous bone reconstruction. 
    3. Joint arthrodesis / Fusion 
    4. Local soft tissue transfer/ flaps / skin grafting
    5. Revision of failed limb reconstructions/ endoprosthesis including prosthetic joint infection
  7. Fixation / Prophylactic fixation of pathological fractures & bone metastasis
  8. Amputation of all levels in upper and lower limbs
